"Hit or Miss"

This is a convenient app when the only phone you have at home is a cellphone and no fax or landline whatsoever. I’ve sent a handful of 2-4 page documents through this app and most of the initial attempts are a failure. The second attempt is always a success and I have no idea why. Also there is no indicator bar to give you some comfort that it is transmitting the fax, just a plain line “sending…” and “fax sent successfully”. It does not have any sound to indicate it is dialing and responding to a valid fax number (with fax tone that is). Luckily I have not been charged on the unsuccessful attempts. I’d still use it out of convenience and cost and I could not find a close alternative.

P.S. make sure to scroll down within the Paypal site and hit the YELLOW “PAY NOW” button AND NOT the “I’m Finished Paying” button within the pop-up payment screen.
